(Received December 25, 10.27 a.i 11.) SvDNh.v, December 25. Fkaius are entertained hern tor the saiety of the Takao Main, which left Ocean Dtaud for Japan on October 17, with a cargo of phosphates. It is feared hive lias foundered in a typhoon in the China .Sea. •<
The Takao Maru is a steamer of 2846 u>n.« register, and is of the following dimensions: —Length, 310 ft; breath, . 40ft 7j«, and depth 26ft 4in. She was built in 1889 by Messrs. D. ant] A. W. Henderson and Co., of Glasgow. / •
