Vienna, December 24. The Fremcndenblatt, in an article, which is interpreted as distinctly making for peace in the Balkans, says if the maintenance of the present state of things in Albania should prove impossible, autoriofny on a national basis must take its place. Autonomy also must be established in Macedonia if contrary to all expectation the work of reform by the Powers should fail.
The above-mentioned article doubtless lias been written in connection with the statement a few days ago of the. Premier of Greece, that the situation in Macedonia, had become intolerable, and that it was possible his Government would find it necessary to intervene with arms.
