Captain Campbell, arrived from East Coast ports last night and berthed at the Queen-street Wharf. The steamer sails again for East Coast porta at 5 p.m. on Thursday. TRANSHIPMENTS. The s.s. Manuka, which arrived from Sydney yesterday, brought transhipments per Moana from Vancouver, Oroya from Geelong, Omrah and Victoria from London, Ville do la Ciotat from Noumea, and a number of Australian coastal steamers. The s.s. Waikare, which arrived from the South yesterday, brought transhipments per Ruapehu from London and Como from New York. - THE MANUKA. The Union Company's steamer Manuka, Captain McDonald, arrived from Sydney at 8 a.m. yesterday, and after the usual medical! and Customs inspection was granted pratique and -.berthed at the Hobson-street Wharf. The steamer left Sydney at 4 p.m. on Wednesday last and had the Three Kings abeam at 4.25 p.m. on Saturday. Passed tho North Cape at 7.46 p.m. the same day and arrived as above.. Experienced light variable winds and smooth seas throughout the voyage. The Manuka returns to Sydney at 5.30 p.m. to-day. - ■ *. .■> . , THE WAIKARE. The Union Company's steamer Waikare, Captain ,T. Rolls, arrived from Lytteltou, via porta, at 10 a.m. yesterday and berthed at the Queenstrejt Wharf. The .steanisr sailed from Lytteltou at midnight ou Wednesday last Md called at Wellington, Napier, and Gisbonie. Waikare leaves for East Coast and Southern ports to-morrow afternoon. - THE VENTURA. The mail steamer Ventura, Captain H. M. Hayward, arrived from Sydney at 3 a.m. on Saturday and after inspection berthed at the Queen-street Wharf. The steamer left Sydney at midnight on Mondav last and experienced head winds and rough "cros3-seas for the Brat two days, thence fine weather to arrival. While the vessel was at Svdnev she was docked for cleaning and painting, and in addition to this she had her old propellers fitted on again in place of those then in use. The steamer resumed her voyage for the Islands j and San Francisco in the afternoon, and is ex- ! pected to arrive at' the Califoruian port about \ January 7 or 8. . THE TAVIUNI.
