CADET SHOOTING COMPETITION.

Thirty-one member* of the Huntljr Public School Cadet Corps competed for prir.es at the ranee of the local rifle company the other day. The conditions were seven shots at 100 yds. The first prize, a handsome inkstand presented by Messrs. tiiee) 1 and Colebrook, wan won by Private F. Hayner, who, with Ilia handi cap, hid a total of 31. The other prize-winners, with their scores, which include the handicaps, were : Private 1.. L. Harris 28, Sergeant A. Burgess 26, Sergeant T. Starr 25, Private T. Leather 25, Private Geo.
