The statement for the week ending December 7 shows that the hens in the Utility Poultry Club's second egg-laying competition at Lincoln College laid 1488 eggs, making the total to date 35.730. The best totals for the week were :—Mrs. .1. Mills, rose-combed brown Leghorns, 32; W. Stalker, silver Wyandottes, 31; Allan Petrie, silver Wyandottes, 30 ; J. Jackman, silver Wyandottes, 29; M. Blanch, silver Wyandottes, 29; J. Ashton, silver Wyandottes, 28: H. Hawke, silver Wyandottes, 27. The highest totals to date axe; M. Blanch, 698: J. Ashton, silver Wyandottes, 640: F. O'Brien, silver Wyandottes, 596: Mrs. Gordon, brown Leghorns, 570; J. Jackman, 539; H. Walton (Mat aura). white Orpingtons. 538; H. Panuell. buff Leghorns, 528; Allan Petrie. 512; Mrs. J. Mills, 511.
