ST. JOHN AMBULANCE ASSOCIATION.
RESULTS OP EXAMINATIONS.
The secretary of the Auckland centre of the St. John Ambulance Association has been advised that the ladies to whom Dr. McDougall gave lectures on First Aid" at the Leys Institute, and who went up for their examination recently, have all passed. The names of tho successful candidates and the grades in which they passed
are as follows: aid: Mrs. Whittakcr,
•nd Misses M. Bell, A Battersby, J. Campbell, J. Davidson, and M. B. Cato. First. - aid in tho first class: Mrs. Wing, and Missos P. Miller, E. Watts, E P. Cato, P. Hanna, M. Gillett, J. Paterson, I. Rhodes, and M. Srmes. Miss K. Short passed in first aid with honours. Misses 11. Harvey and E. Baldodk passed the medallion examination, the former in the first-class and tho latter ' with . honours. The examiners were Drs. Baker, Dudley, and Jones. Dr. Baker gave the first lecture to ladies on " Home Nursing" at the central office, Mercantile Chamberg, last evening, about 20 ladies being pre- , sent, rhe first 'ecture to men on "Home Nursing" will be given by Dr. Roland Aickin at the central office to-morrow evening.
