London, July 20. ' Tukkey has accepted the demands of the Powers in connection with the increase of Customs duties.

Turkey's tariff consists of an ad valorem duty of 8 per cent, on all imports except tobacco and salt, which are State monopolies. There is an export duty of 1 per cent, on native products. At the end of May the. Powers agreed to an increase of 3 per cent, in the ad valorem duty conditional on the Turkish Government making a number of reforms. .
