GREAT FIRE IN 7 DUNDEE.
DISTILLERIES ON FIRE.

£500,000.

London, July 20. A eat fire took place yesterday at Dundee. The bonded warehouses of the Messrs. Watson, and the distillery of the Messrs. John Robertson and Son, were burned.
There was' an enormous destruction of whisky, and. in the streets were streams of burning spirit.
The fire spread to the jute warehouses. •
Five acres of buildings were in flames, .and'the damage is at least £500,000. V; , ;
The distillery of the Messrs. Robertson is in a district of Dundee known as Seagate, and adjoining is the distillery of James "Watson and Co.. Ltd. In the- same locality are the jute works of Joffe Bros, and Co.
