THROWN FROM A HORSE.
WANDERING ABOUT IN A DAZED
CONDITION.

: Ohkistchuroh, Saturday. Mr. E. Kesiptiiorne.. manager of the Bank of New South Wales, at Amberley, met with a rather serious accident last evening. He left home at'half-past five p.m. to ride to the beach. By eight in. he had not returned, and "a large search' party was organised. The party searched the beach road and swamp, and at ten p.m. Mr. Kempthorne's horse, Whip, and cap were found on the side of the road. A further search with lanterns was made throughout the night, which was very cold and dark, and at daylight Mr. Kempthorne was discovered wandering along the 'beach in a dazed condition. He was immediately brought to Amberley, and attended to by Dr. Lester, who found him to be suffering from a slight concussion ;of the brain, and exposure and bruises.
