A LIBEL ACTION.

[it TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Christchurch, Saturday. Canon Pollock, who left the Christchurch diocese auout a couple of years ago in consequence of a disagreement with Bishop Julius relative to the collection of the Cathedral completion funds, has commenced a Supreme Court libel action, against Bishop Julius, in consequence of an alleged libellous letter supposed to have been written and published by the defendant. The matter came before Judge Dcnniston in Chambers this morning, when application for leave to administer interrogatories was made on behalf of the plaintiff, and His Honor, after hearing argument, directed the matter to stand over till next Chamber day.
