The trawler Ayre, during a fog collided 'yesterday off Holyhead with, the barque Bona-fi.de bound from Fiji to Liverpool. The ship sank, but her crew had'time to take to the boats and were picked up by the trawler.

The Bon'afide was a wooden barque of 534 tons register, and was owned by. Mr. C. Wroldsen, of v Wedestrund, Norway. She was -built in Norway in 1895, and sailed from Levuka, Fiji, on April 6, for the United Kingdom, with a cargo of copra.
