Melbourne, July 27. I The case in which a man named Barry, working in the public gardens, some time ago died of poison contained in beer given him to drink by a strange man, is likely to remain a mystery. The inquest has been finally closed with an open verdict. f NEW SOUTH WALES LAND SCANDALS. Sydney, July 27. In reply to a question in the Assembly yesterday, the Attorney-General said that Mr. Justice Owen having given Mr. W. N.
