The medical testimony at the inquest on William McDonald, a canvasser, who fell dead last night when about to enter a hot bath, was to the effect that death was due to failure of the heart's action caused by pleuro-pneumonia. The doctor stated that the wonder was that in view of the diseased state of the left , lung, deceased had been able to go about his ordinary work. A verdict in accordance with the medical testimony was returned.
