SHOOTING COMPETITION AT THE THAMES THE Hauraki Riltes held a shooting competition at tha Parawai range on Saturday afternoon for a pair of bronze statuettes, tho conditions being the highest, aggregate of three matches. Great interest was taken in the competition, as shown by the large number who took part. The conditions were 10 shots each at 200 yds and 300yda, but owing to darkness setting in it was found impossible to finish the shooting. The following are so far the highest scores:—
