Cooper, who has been contributing a series of articles to the Pastoialists' Review on the possibilities of trade between the colonies and the west coast of the United States, says that Tf the colonies could supply tho population between Seattle and Los Angeles with frozen mutton there would be very little difficulty in getting rid of 2,000,000 sheep every year in that market. Ho also .slates that during tho six months of winter the people living between Seattle 'and St. Louis could easily take as much butter as we now export, besides wool and other WO* duct?
