The equipment of the power-house is almost completed, and in two or three days everything should be ready to put the current on to the wires. The portion of the line to bo operated is from Cathedral Square to I'apatitii, and the wiring on this route should be completed very shortly. It is intended to utilise the portion of the line from tin- power-house along Moorhouse Avenue t;> Manchester-street for training purposes for the motonnen.
