(•iiRiSTCHL'Rcn, Friday. A meeting of the householders of the Waltham school district was held last night to protest against the overcrowding of the school. The headmaster stated that, all the rooms in the school, »vith one exception, were unduly crowded. The infant room was lmilt to accommodate 130 at the outside, and there were 270 infants on the roll. The school was supposed to hold 444 children, and then- were 766 on (lit- roll. A motion was adopted urging hjmiii the Government the necessity of providing funds for the immediate enlargement <>[ the [tool.
