DEATH OF MR. B. HALLENSTEIN

Mr. Bendtx Hallenstkin, senior partner in Hallenstein Brothers, of the New Zealand Clothing Factory, and chairman of directors of the Drapery Importing Company, died to-day. Deceased, -who came from Victoria in the days of the gold rush, after being in business at- Invercargill and Queenstown, came to Dunedin, and started the New Zealand Clothing Factory. ' He was, with his brothers, largely connected with numerous enterprises. Deceased, who was about 70 years of age. had teen for some years German Consul here.
