SETTLERS SUNDAY.

A MEETING of lay preachers was held at the X.M.C.A. rooms last evening for the purpose of considering what should he done in regard'to "Settlers' Sunday." Mr. P. F. Cheal, who presided, said their principal business was to elect a committee to cooperate with a committee appointed by the Ministers* Association an evening or two ago. When that was done the combined committees could make all the arrangements. The following committee was then elected: Messrs. P. E. Cheal, R. Entrican, Somerville. S. U. Macauley, J. Barr, H. C. Haselden and W. J. Wilde. A visitation committee to work the different districts was alas appointed.
