St. Petersburg, December 12.

There has been a demonstration by 10,000 students and workmen in St. Petersburg to demand reforms and to protest against the war.

Gendarmes galloped into the crowd and attacked the people with the flat of their swords.

Fifty of the reformers were injured, many of them seriously.
