Ddnedin*, Monday. The Dunedin livening Star denies the- Lyttcltoii Times' statement that Cabinet has appointed Mr. W. P. Reeves for a further term of two years, and that he is to be the first High Commissioner for the colony. The Star states that its contemporary has been misled this time. The matter of the High Commissioner is still in abeyance.
