With regard to the drop of 40* hi New Zealand 3 per cents., cabled on Saturday, the Premier has received word from the AgentGeneral that there was a general deoline in the market of 10s. As to the remaining 30s, that is the half-year's interest, which becomes du: on October 1, and the custom of the market is that all stocks are quoted less the half-year's interest from the first of the month previoue to which the interest is payable.
