COMPENSATION CASE.

[by telegraph.—press ASSOCIATION'.] Invercargitx, Tuesday. Tjtb Arbitration Court to-day was engaged hearing a compensation case, in which Chas. Travis sued W. S. Waterton for £1 a week, or such total sum as the Court might award for injuries received while in his employ. Defendant had paid £1 per week from February till June, but refused to pay more; as he held defendant was able to earn the same wages as before. . The Court reserved its decision.
