TWO FISHERMEN MISSING.
[fit telegraph.-—own correspondent.] Cokohandel, Saturday. Two fishermen named Charles Bowden and John Brown eft Coromandel Harbour on Monday for Mantua Harbour. They were last seen by Thames fishermen on Tuesday evening, carrying all sail, off Coromandel Harbour. The yacht was only a 20ft halfdecked centre-board boat. The usual time to come back was Thursday, but the weather being so rough no anxiety was felt by their friends until this morning, when Messrs. Caider, Clark, and party, went out and made a thorough search of Pita's and Rangiapuke islands, Mahs.ia and Te Kouma harbours, and 'ft number of small islands, but found no trace of either men or yacht. The s.s. Falcon kept a sharp lookout oh her trip to Cabbage Bay last night and on her return trip this morning, but saw no trace of them. Several yachts are going out searching in different" directions to-morrow (Sunday). Charles Bowclefi's father is an engineer at Price Bros.' foundry,' at the Thames, and Brown came irons Scotland 12 months since. He has no relations in. the colony as far as J is known here. ■
