It transpires that Mr. Hugo Fviedlander has become the owner of Ropa, Torchon, and Porangi, the Canterbury sportsman having purchased the trio in question from Mr. E. F. . Darlot. The purchase of Ropa by Mr. Friedlander causes the Great Northern Guineas to assume somewhat, the appearance of a certainty for the Canterbury sportrmun.
