Deaths in May were 186, a decrease of 13 on the number in April. Of the total deaths males contributed- 95 and females 91. Forty-three of the deaths were of children muter live years of age, being 1 23.12 per cent, of the whole number. Thirtytwo of these were under one year of afee. There were 44 deaths of persons 65 years and upwards.
