The cable-repairing steamer Iris left for Doubtless Bay yesterday morning. The Northern Company's steamer Wellington arrived from Whangarei early yesterday morning with passengers and general cargo, and left for same place again at night. Last night the Northern Company's stea mer Muritai left for the Great Barrier. The Northern Company's fteamer Paeroa leaves for Whangapoua and Port Charles at 7 o'clock this evening. Yesterday the barquentine La Bella was berthed at the Queen-street Wharf to load for Noumea and Surprise Island. Mr. G. V. Eilgcnmbe ha.3 fixed the barque Kathleen Hilda to load salt at Edithburg, South Australia, for a New Zealand porjfc. The Union Company's steamer Tavinm, on her return from the Islands next month, will bo floated into the Auckland Dock lor general overhaul.

THE MARAROA. The Union Company's steamer Mararoa left Sydney for Auckland yesterday, and is due on Sunday next. After medical and Customs inspection the steamer will berth at the wharf.

THE JESERIO. The steamer Jeserlo has left Brisbane for Westport to load coal for Hongkong for the British Admiralty.

THE MOURA. The Union Company's steamer Mo.nra leaves Fiji for Auckland to-morrow, and is due on Tuesday nest. On discharge the steamer proceeds to Wellington and Westport, and on he,, return to Auckland will be docked for general overhaul.

THE ALICE. The American barque Alice, which sailed from Auckland on January 25, has arrived at New York. Tse Alice has been fixed to load at .Ne-.v Yorlf for Wellington and Auckland. THE HAWEA. The Union Company's steamer Hawea left tho Bluff for Oamaru, Timarti, Napier, and Auckland yesterday. On discharge at this port the steamer will be floated into tho Auckland Dock for general overhaul. THE TAMARINA. The new pclwoner Tamnrina, recently built by Messrs. Brown and Hans, on the Northern VVairoa, has since nor arrival in Auckland been inspected by n lari?e number of visitors interested in the shipping trade.
