THE RATA SENSATION.
[jIY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wanganui, Tuesday. At the inquest on the native who tried to murder his wife at Rata, a verdict of death from a wound in the head, self-inflicted with a tomahawk, was returned. The wife is in the hospital in a serious and her dying depositions have been taken.
