PING-PONG,
The association meets on Holiday evening to decide whether the new servo is to be adopted in Auckland this season, and to arrange the draw for the inter-club championships. The Parnell Club commences its season next Tuesday with an open night. The latest thing in bats is rubber, covered with a- "knobbly" surface on one side. Jt is very fast, and imparts an enormous amount cf "screw" to the ball. According to English players it practically does away with the stonewalling" game.
