ACCIDENT TO A CAPTAIN.

[BY telegraph.—riiEss association.] Napier, Friday. A bathes, serious accident befell Captain William Edwards, master of the lighter Trusty, in the bay this morning. The lighter was discharging frozen meat into„the Gothic, and Captain Edwards had gone on board the big steamer to receive the boat note. While he was standing on the hatchway he was knocked overboard by a, meat sling, and falling on the deck of the Trusty broke his left arm and received a severe shaking. His aro not likely to be dangerous.
