FIRE AT NAPIER.
[3r TELEGEAPIt. —PP.ESS ASSOCIATION.] , > ;■ Napier, Sunday. A nine-roomed house in Hastings-street, owned and occupied by Mr. H. Beaumont, **a» destroyed by fire last evening. The fro originated in the children's bedroom, ' M was caused by a lighted candle setting mto the curtains. The flames had a ' flood hold when discovered, and very little . *« Saved. The building, which was an ™ one, and formerly occupied by the exMayor (Mr. Swan), was, with its contents, wed, for £750.
