IN MEMORIAM.

PALMER.— loving memory of my dear mother. Christina Palmer, who departed this life February 13. 1901. Again in beautiful dreams you will come; We see you again in our dear old home; You smile the old smile as you stand by our side. And whisper these words, "Death cannot divide." How onr hearts cry out for the footsteps We are never more to hear; Might the sound of a voice beloved But once more greet our ear. Oft-times our souls are smitten With a sharp and sudden pain. As though we had only learnt just then They would never be here again. —Inserted by her loving daughter, DIDO CORRICAN.
