AN EXCITING INCIDENT.
■ ■■♦ [by Tr.I.EORAI'H. —OWN correspondent.] New Plymouth, Friday. A nor named Ross, while riding a horse and carrying a set of steelyards, was thrown and got his back slightly hurt. *The horse then bolted down Devon-street, and ran foul of a trap, getting its feet tangled in the spokes of the wheel, which caused it to turn a somersault, and, landing on its head, broke its neck. The only damage to the trap was two spokes broken.
