THE FINEST POODL IN THE WORLD.
The most striking dog of the 3000 recently exhibited at Craft's Dog Show was the champion poodle, named Cannon Hill Beauty, the property of Mrs. W. W. Bowers. He was seated against a background of brilliaut yellow, and had his topknot fastened tip with a chic bow of yellow ribbon. His heavy mass of corded hair that falls around him like a dowager's mantle is over half a yard long, and his moustache takes a most graceful curl as be looks disdainfully around. Americans have long been casting envious eyes on this poodle, and it is not unlikely that it may pass into their hands. It is acknowledged to be the iinest black poodle In the world. 'Many distinguished names were down among the exhibitors at this show— notably those of the Princess Dhuleep Singh, the Princess of Montglyn, the "Duchess of Newcastle, and the Marquis of Cholmondeley. , .-,.'
