THE ASSASSINATION OF A RUSSIAN MINISTER.

Paris, April' 23 i , At Russia's instigation the Paris: police searched the residences of 15 Russian students and found correspondence relating to M. Sipiaguine's; assassination. Probably the students will be extradited to Russia.
M. Sipiaguine was Minister of the Interior, and ho was assassinated while attending an Imperial Council of Ministers and officers at St. Petersburg a Kieif University student named Bolschannet. The assassin, who was punished for rioting last year, drove up in a carriage disguised as an officer and obtained admission to the Council. When M. Sipiaguino arrived, Bolschannet handed him a document purporting to come from Duke Sergius and simultaneously fired six shots from a revolver, mortally wounding Sipinguine, who died in an hour. The assassin was arrested. lie declared ho vowed vengeance for the treatment he received at Ivieff.
