TRADE WITH AFRICA.
The Premier, in the course of an interview, stated it had been ascertained that the Blue Star Line has no proper steamers, and had failed to make proper arrangements for properly carrying out the contract for service with South Africa. The arrangements generally were not satisfactory, but the matter was still under consideration, and he was awaiting a cao.e from the Agent-General before making a definite pronouncement.
