Credit balance carried forward, £7 7s Id. The following officers were then elected:—Mr. C. W. Stephens, minister's warden, also secretary and treasure., and auditor of the church building fund; Mr. Geo. Atkins, parish warden; Messrs. Goo. Forbes, W. Hyde, and Richards, vestrymen. A cordial vote of thanks was unanimously accorded to th*. chairman, the outgoing vestry, lay readers. Miss Brown (organist), and Sunday sol teachers, also to Miss Thorpe, for assiduous attention to their various duties in eoti'tection with the church. The Rev. 0. R. Hewlett said that the trustees were going to t:is- ■ i continue the allowance for the native pastorate at the end of the year 1902, and therefore an appeal was to lie made to the various . parishes to assist in carrying out : the work.. The motion of Mr. Geo. Forbes, to open subscription lists for the purpose, was favourably received by the meeting, the proposer offering to head the list with 10c. The meeting then termiaated.
