ECLIPSE OF THE MOON.
The eclipse of the moon which took place yesterday morning from half-past four to about half-past seven was not observed in Auckland owing to the unfavourable slate of the weather. Air. J. T. Stevenson ro.-o at the first-named hour to take observations, but found the moon hidden from sight by the clouds.
