DR. PARKER'S NEW YEAR MESSAGES.

- London, January 3. The Rev. Joseph Parker, of the City Temple, delivered New Year messages at Thursday's services to the King, to President Roosevelt, to the newspapers and to the Australian 'Commonwealth. The message to Australia was as follows:—"Your Commonwealth is as sounding brass or a tinkling cymbal if you loosely hold the Bible, the Sabbath and the sanctuary."
