Sit*-—I do not suppose I should have been drawn into writing on the above question had it not have b«en for a communication I received a few days ago regarding a mooting that was held in Auckland last week by a few persona who dub themselves " the butter dealers of Auckland," and who are so interested in the advancement of the farmers' interests as to again attempt to take out ot your and into their own hands the price they are prepared to give for farmers' butter, eggs, etc. Arrangements have already been made by many farmers with the retailer in the city to be guided by the price
