By Telegraph.— Association.—Copyright. (Received October 11, 0.54 a.m.) London, October 10. Eighteen Boers, after a sharp engagement near Donnybrook, 30 miles from Queenstcwn, were captured.
During the fighting on Sunday in the neighbourhood of Vryheid, General Walter Kitchener lost three killed and 10 wounded. Botha retired northwards.
Two hundred Boers were defeated south of Heilbron, in the north-east of the Orange River Colony, on the 7th, after a sharp engagement. The Boers retreated southwards.
