The Northern Company's steamer Wellington arrived from Whanearei early this morning with passengers and general cargo, and leaves for trie .same place again to-night. Last night the Northern Company's steamer Muritai arrived from the Great Barrier, and leaves at 7 o'clock this evening for Kuaotunu, Mercury Bay, and the Great Barrier. Yesterday morning the Northern Company's steamer Psieroa arrived from the North with a cargo of kauri gum, etc., and left in the evening for Whangarei. The Union Comnany's steamer Eotokino ' proceeded up to Chelsea yesterday morning. ! and commenced discharging her cargo of raw i sugar from Fiji. Last night the Northern Company's steamer Terranora left for Afbanj?ap«Ha. The steamer Stella arrived from Wharefeawa with a raft of logs yesterday. Yesterday the auxiliary schooner Greyhound arrived from the North with a cargo of kauri gum, puriri post;?, etc. She leaves for the North again to-morrow afternoon. Company's steamer Tavhmi. ! from Westport to Auckland, passed Cape I Maria Van Diemen at 11.10 a.m. yesterday, ! and should arrive early this afternoon. The : Taviuni proceeds on to Fiji on Wednesday i evening next. j THE RAKANOA. ! The Umon Company's steamer Rakanoa was floated into the Auckland Dock yesterday morning' for general overhaul. The steamer will be floated out again to-morrow, and ' as soon as her overhaul is completed will pro- ! ceed to Fiji to load raw sugar for Auckland. THE TE ANATJ. The Union Company's steamer Te Anau, Captain John Bernech, arrived from Southern and East Coast ports at 11 a.m. yesterday, berthing at Quay-street Jetty No. 2, Mr. Hill, the -purser, reports that the steamer left Dunedin on Friday last, and called at Lyttelton, Wellington. Napier, and Gisbome, leaving the latter nort at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, and arriving as above. Fine weather prevailed to the East Cape; thence atrom? south-west winds and seas to arrival. The Te Anau leaves for East Coast and Southern ports at noon to-morrow. THE lORANGI. A white-painted yacht was sighted outside of Napier on Tuesday evening by the 8.9. Te Anau. which was supposed to he the new yacht lorangi, bound from Auckland to Wellington.
