LACROSSE.
A meeting was held last evening at Mr. "ft. Eagleton-k rooms, Queen-street, to form a City district lacrosse club. There was a large attendance of players and intending players. Twenty members were enrolled. It was unanimously resolved to practise every second Saturday during the off season. I f J
It was decided to ask His Worship the Mayor (Mr. Alfred Kidd) to accept the position of patron, Mr. A. Myers* as vicepatron, and Mr. A. Kohn to accept the office of president. Messrs. R. Eagleton and Blackler were elected captain and vicecaptain respectively. A committee was appointed, consisting of Messrs. R. Eagleton, R. Graham, H. Bladder, and H. McKuight. Mr. L. Goldwater was elected secretary and treasurer. The colours of the club are "to be ; black and red bars.
