PLAGUE AT THE CAPE.

London, February 13. Dr. Edgington, the Government Bacteriologist, states that the rats at Capetown are not suffering; from bubonic plague, but other doctors differ from, him. A metal enclosure has betn formed round immense stocks of rat-infested military forage at Capetown in order to ensure the destruction of vermin before the forage is removed.
