This morning he will ; return to Thames, and leave at once fci : Coromandel, travelling as far as Waikiiwau by buggy. and from thence to Coromandel on horseback. I A pleasing ceremony was performed on 1 beard the R.M.s. Mariposa, at Sydney, on ■ the 21st inst., when Commander ITavward • was presented with a handsomelv-set liqueur stand, by the committee of the Balmain Regatta. Mr. C. N. Fulchei (purser) was also ' presented with a silver-mounted pipe. The : ' Mariposa was flagship at the recent Balmain j regatta. 1 At St. Paul's Church, Symonds-street, yes- i ' terdav morning, Mr. J. Iredale was married j 1 to Miss Churton, eldest daughter of Mr. ■ W. H. Churton. The ceremony was performed by Canon C. If. Nelson. ' 'fhe bride, who was given away by her father, was at- ' tended by Miss Mabel Churton, as bridesmaid, and Mr. Charles Churton acted as best i man. Mr. and Mrs. Iredale left during the f day for the South by the s.s. Gairloch.
