BANK OP ENGLAND. The Bank of England returns published today, show the stock of gold, coin, and bullion to be £30,148,000; reserve, £20,413,000; proportion of reservo to liabilities, 43.19; in circulation, £28,301,000; public deposits, £8,189,000; other deposits, £38,857,000; Government securities, £13,341,000; other securities, £31,252,000. MONEY MARKET. Throe months bills are discounted at 43 per cent. COPPER. Copper: Spot, £75 12s 6d; three months, £74. Market firm. TIN. Tin is steady, £126 19s. IRON. Iron, £3 lis Id. LEAD. Lead, £16 12s 6d. SILVER. Silver, 2s 3 5-16 d. SUGAR. Sugar is flat: German, 9s; Java, lis 9d. WOOL. The Bradford wool market is excited. Common sixties, 2s 7d; supers, 2s Bid. River Plate tops at Antwerp sold at 6.35 francs per 100 kilograms, November-December delivery; 6.45 francs, April delivery. At Ronbaike they are quoted at 6.60 francs to 6.65 francs. WHEAT. The wheat market is quiet, but firm. Sailer parcels afloat, £1 7s 6d; 13,000 sacks new Victorian January shipment, £1 8s 9d. BUTTER. Butter is improving, and in good demand.
