SERIOUS SAWMILL ACCIDENT.
[by telegraph,—own correspondent.] Awanoi, Friday. A serious accident occurred at Mr, Masters' Pukepoto Sawmill, near Kaitaia. A piece of timber came back on the circular saw, striking Mr. Alfred Powell, son of Mr, H. C. Powell, of Herekino, inflicting a severe wound on his heed and face. Mr, S. W. C. llrent sewed up the wounds of the sufferer, and conveyed him home.
