Foao's account of his bicycle tour throughout New Zealand, as supplied to the Otago Witness, of March lutb, I8W:- • Throughout this trip, during which I covertd close. on 3000 miles— be correct 2920 miles—on the, roads, I alone, as well as touring in various parts of Canterbury and Otago, during the previous six months, the distances amounting to over 3000 miles, or in all say 6000 miles, I have been using a machine fitted with the Collier Two-speed Gear.. The machine and gear have stood splendidly. I have never had occasion to spend a single sixpence on the gear, which is now in as good order as when new. I should strongly advise riders, unless going on the track, to have this gear fitted to their machines. When a head wind is blowing, by riding to the low gear, the ease with which the machine is driven would tardly be credited unless tried.
