WOOL SALES.
The second wool sales of the season under the auspices of the Auckland Woolbrokers Association will be held to-day at the Wool Exchange' (Hesketh and Aibken's), operations commencing at 9 a.m. The auctioneers represented are Messrs. A. Buckland and Sons, Hunter and Nolan, G-. W. Binney and Son) and the New Zealand ' Loan and' Mercantile ; Agency -: Company • ■:£ the j total catalogue showing v. between ' three and four thousand bales, of which" number 1256 will be submitted oh behalf of the first-mentioned firm. The clips lon the whole are quite tip to expectations, being perhaps a trifle behind .those of the first Bales in quality, though quite equal in general get up, a'sd altogether' Very satisfactory. The tone Of the home mal'ket indicates that prices fnay be expected to shoW a slight falling away on those with which the sSason's operations were opened.
