The brigantfnu Defiance sailed from the Kaipara for Sydney yesterday with 155,000 feet of kanii timber. The Union Company's steamer Takapuna, from the South and New Plymouth, is timed to reach Ouehunga at twelve o'clock tocieht. Yesterday the hirquentinn River Hunter Bailed from Wellington to the Kaipara to load timber for Sydney. On Monday the Northern Company's Bteanicr Clansman leaves for the North at 9 a.m. instead of in the evening, and returns early on Wednesday morning. Yesterday the Union Company's steamer Ohtt'j went up to Chelsea to discharge her cargo of raw sugar from Fiji. The schooner Annie Hill sailed from Bagnail's mill, Tunnies River, for Lyttelton yesterday, with a cargo of white pine timber. The Northern Co. 'a steamer Gairloch will be placed on the Thames trade during the holidays. On Monday next the Union Co.'a steamer Dingadee arrives from Wellington and the East Coast, and leaves for the same ports again on Tuesday evening. The barque Hudson sailed from London for this port on October 29. and comes consigned to Messrs. T. and S. Morrin and Co., Limited Yesterday the barqtio Pitcairn Island arrived at Lyttelton from Rio de Janeiro to load for London. H.M.s. Orlando left Abany for Sydney, and the Wallaroo for Melbourne, on the 9th inst. THE MOUNT SIRION, The Union Cr.'s chartered steamer Mount Sirion, from Calcutta and Singapore, may be expected to put in an appearance at any moment. She proceeds on to Wellington on Monday.
